Obsidian Entertainment is currently looking for a talented Mid - Senior level Network Programmer to join our growing team of RPG developers.
Our ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent problem solving skills, has the ability to deliver on time and works well in a team environment.
Requirements:
• An avid gamer with a passion for making games
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Excellent problem-solving, performance analysis and debugging skills
• Strong math skills
• Low-level network programming experience on PC and console platforms
• Knowledge of different network programming models and the pros and cons of each
• Experience with multithreaded programming
• Ability to do performance analysis and optimization of network traffic
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering
